About the Role

Nullstack is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Systems Support Technician to join our growing Managed IT Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the core systems infrastructure for our clients, including servers, cloud services, backups, and Microsoft environments. You will collaborate closely with our End-User Support and Network Services teams to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain physical and virtual server environments, including patching, performance, and uptime.
• Assist with the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 services.
• Perform regular system health checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support data protection and backup systems, including validation, monitoring, and recovery testing.
• Respond to tickets involving server-side issues, cloud services (e.g., Azure, M365), and remote infrastructure.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and project deployments as part of the engineering team.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and client environments within our documentation platform.
• Coordinate with vendors or escalation partners for advanced support when needed.
• Identify trends in client issues and recommend long-term solutions to improve system performance and stability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience supporting Windows Server environments and cloud services.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hyper-V/VMware.
• Experience with backup systems such as Veeam or similar.
• Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable working with ticketing systems and managing workload independently.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
